Hat Tricks shutout by former teammate, Riley Gorman, in 9-0 final.

The Connecticut based clubs met in their seventh and final matchup for the regular season. Norwich struck first with a goal from forward, Skylar Bawcom. Following that goal, Danbury tried their best to stay out of their own zone for the next thirteen minutes. However, Sea Captains defenseman, Tim Hayden, scored what would be the first of three goals scored in a 2:28 span. The first period would end 4-0, in favor of Norwich. The second frame began with another Sea Captains goal from forward Chase Leivian, just 0:53 in. After the sixth goal from Norwich, Danbury would pull their goaltender, Markus Paltauf, and have Chris Panza play out the rest of the game. Before the end of the second frame, a four man scrum would ensue with 4 roughing calls and 10 minute misconducts handed to all players involved.

The final frame featured two more goals from the Sea Captains in the final five minutes. However, the night got chippy with two exhilarating fights between Carmine Moscardelli (DAN) and Jameson Bain (NOR), as well as Bruin Shwendeman (DAN) and Ryan Janick (NOR).

The Hat Tricks are back in action on Valentine’s Day, when they face off against the New Jersey Titans on the road in Middletown. Puck drop is set for 1pm on NAHLTV.
