Lefty’s back! Connor Lefkof re-signs with Danbury

Danbury’s NA3HL Jr. Hat Tricks are getting one of their key defensive cogs back this season. Connor Lefkof has officially re-upped for the 2020-21 campaign.

Lefkof, a 2000-born Frisco, TX native, was a standout on the blueline for the since re-branded Danbury Colonials. He recorded 46 points in 47 games in the Hat City, leading all defensemen on the team in scoring.

“I’m really excited to pick up where I left off last year,” said Lefkof. “It was tough having to end the season abruptly, and I think we had a lot left to prove which is hopefully something that drives us this year.”

“I don’t anticipate us taking very long to get going,” he added, praising the team’s strong culture and talent.

“Adding Lefty to our lineup is huge in so many ways,” commented head coach Kevin Cunningham. “He’s one of the top two-way defensemen in the NA3HL. He’s a vital player for us on the ice, but he’s also a huge part of what makes our locker room special. His character and leadership are hallmarks that define how we want our program to function.”
